Design - Hip Hop’s Farewell to Lucky You

On August 9th, 2023, Lucky You Lounge, a staple of the Spokane, Washington live music scene, announced that it would be closing its doors at the end of the month. The beloved venue had been one of the most popular locations for up-and-coming Pacific Northwest artists since 2019.

HaveUHeard!? Live, a Washington-based entertainment company and longtime partner of Lucky You, came to me with a tall task: create a rush-order batch of design assets that could be used to promote one last show: Hip Hop’s Farewell to Lucky You. Over the next 48 hours, I designed assets to be used by HUH and Lucky You in traditional web and social channels, as well as assets that performers could use in the lead up to the show. And on August 29th, Hip Hop’s Farewell to Lucky You sold out capacity of more than 250, providing a proper sendoff for Spokane’s favorite live music venue.
