Branding & Design - Better World Better Vote

Better World Better Vote, formerly known as VFS Fest, is Spokane’s only voting-themed music festival. Traditionally held during the weeks leading up to major elections, one of the primary goals of BWBV is to have festival attendees drop off their ballots at the festival. BWBV’s parent organization, Reimagine Spokane, came to me in 2024 looking to rebrand the festival for the upcoming election year.

This design system gives nods to local landmarks and incorporates stylistic influence from west coast music, skate, and surf cultures. Better World Better Vote 2024 garnered hundreds of attendees, but more importantly, more than 30 ballots were dropped off at the festival!
